In your Home 6 Week Basic Obedience Class
(One hour session)

Before the 6 week class begins I will come over for an observation and consultation visit with you and your dog in his or her own environment and then we will meet once a week.

The basic obedience class covers the most important manners such as: watch me, sit, down, let's go, come when called, leave it, touch, off, sit-stay, down-stay, loose leash walking and how to act as pack leader to your dog.

At the beginning of each class we will discuss how last week's training and commands went and work on any challenges to make training more successful and stress free for both you and your dog. At the end of each class we will discuss any behavioral issues and discuss why this is happening and how to change this behavior by scheduling an In-home Session for Behavioral issues

At the first class a hand out will be provided with information about your dog's breed and its needs, how to be successful in training, proper toys, and behavior information.

In-home Sessions for Behavioral issues
(90-minute session)

Sharing your life with a dog can be a wonderful experience, especially when your dog is well-mannered and comfortable in a variety of environments, with people and other dogs.

I work with any behavioral issues your dog has developed. I also train the entire family to be a Pack Leader consistently, rehabilitating the dog, and working with dogs that are shy, fearful, aggressive towards food, people or other dogs.

Puppy Kindergarten
(One hour session)

Housebreaking, Socialization, Effective Communication, Understanding dog behavior, Avoiding Common problems such as chewing, nipping, jumping, or excessive barking. There are three 3 classes in this course.

Intermediate Obedience
(One hour session)

This is the start of off leash obedience and focused driven training. The primary challenge of this class is to achieve off leash recall (come when called)as well as some of the basic obedience commands. Participants will also work on managing distractions which helps put you and your dog on a path towards a stronger bond. There are 4 classes in this course. This class can also be used to help certify your dog as a therapy dog. Beginner Obedience is a prerequisite.
